The texts listed here are ones that I mention in Urban Fantasy: How to Write Paranormal and Supernatural Thrillers (2023) or are ones I found while I was researching the chapters on magic, witchcraft, and demonology for that book. This is not meant to be an exhaustive list – on some of the websites listed below you will find many other texts.
Where there is a Wikipedia article about a text, I have also included this link – you will find details about the content of an item in these articles.
Note: Links are given here in good faith, I’ve tested them all out. I am listing each as a place where a document can be found and am not explicitly or implicitly endorsing any of the websites or organisations.

The Lesser Key of Solomon (also known as Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis or just the Lemegeton) was anonymously authored and published in the mid-seventeenth century. It is divided into five books: the Ars Goetia, Ars Theurgia-Goetia, Ars Paulina, Ars Almadel, and Ars Notoria. A section of Ars Goetia later labelled ‘Liber Malorum Spirituum seu Goetia’(‘Book of Evil Spirits or Goetia’), contains the names of 72 demons along with their rank/title and their sigils, which might be drawn as part of a ritual to summon them. The occultist Aleister Crowley produced his own translation of ‘Goetia.’
